Schedule Overview : Aequitas Solutions

The Schedule Suite provides users with tools to design master schedules, manage course offerings, assign students to classes, and support academic and career planning. Applications in this suite include, but are not limited to, Loader, Master Schedule Builder, Student Schedules, and a variety of supporting reports.

Users unsure where to begin can review the application descriptions below. Reports are listed alphabetically at the end of the list. Additionally, documentation can be accessed through the navigation pane on the left.

Advisory Schedules: Allows schools to create weekly advisory sessions where students can select or be assigned to meetings, with optional attendance posting back to their home advisory class.
Assign Career Plan: Allows users to batch assign predefined Career Plans to selected students using selection filters.
Assign Course Plan: Allows users to mass assign a Course Plan as a base academic plan to selected students using selection filters.
Assign Students: Allows users to schedule or unschedule students in teacher-assigned courses within the master schedule.
Assign Study Hall: Fills unscheduled periods in student schedules with a selected course based on defined parameters.
Career Plan Setup: Allows users to create career plans and generate associated course requests to guide student scheduling.
Class News: Allows teachers to post news items for their assigned classes using the class banner.
Course Plans Setup: Defines structured multi-year course sequences that can be assigned to students and used to generate course requests.
CTE Pathways Setup: Allows districts to define CTE pathways and associate courses and levels within industry sectors.
District Courses: Defines and maintains district-wide course offerings that serve as the foundation for master schedules.
Loader: Mass-schedules students into course sections while applying rules, constraints, and optimization logic.
Loader Setup: Contains configuration tools for the Loader, including options, rules, linking, teams, and mid-year preparation.
Mass Requests: Allows users to add, delete, or modify course requests for multiple students at once.
Mass Schedules: Allows users to add, delete, or modify schedules for multiple students at once, including advanced changes.
Master Schedule Builder: Allows administrators to design and optimize a master schedule before exporting it for scheduling.
Master Schedule Manager: Allows users to build, view, and edit master schedule details, including sections and patterns.
Pathways Setup: Allows districts to define CTE pathways, assign courses, and organize them by industry sector.
Seating Chart: Allows teachers to create seating arrangements for their assigned classes using the class banner.
Student Career Plan: Allows users to create and manage individualized career plans including courses and CTE pathways.
Student Course Plan: Allows users to build and manage individualized multi-year course plans and view graduation projections.
Student CTE Pathways: Allows users to enroll students in CTE pathways and manage their pathway participation.
Student Pathways: Allows users to enroll students in CTE pathways and manage pathway participation data.
Student Recommendations: Allows users to track recommendations and log related student meetings.
Student Schedules: Allows users to view and manage student schedules, course requests, and scheduling changes.
Track Course Setup: Allows users to assign district-defined courses to specific school tracks so they become available for scheduling within those tracks.

Schedule Reports

Adds And Drops: Lists student schedule changes for a specified date range to inform teachers of students who have enrolled in or withdrawn from their classes.
Barcode Roster: Produces a student roster with a barcode for each student, with multiple selection and sort options.
Checklist Roster: Produces a list of students with a grid for checking off items for each student.
Class Enrollment Analysis: Produces a pivot table of class enrollment showing regular and special education students, with drill-down to student records.
Class Mailing Labels: Prints mailing labels addressed to students, or to their parents or guardians, for students scheduled in one or more classes.
Class News Listing: Prints a listing of class news for a selected teacher and date range.
Class Roster: Produces class rosters with options to include exited students, phone numbers, class entry and exit dates and codes, counselors, and advisors.
Class Size: Lists master schedule sections with daily enrollment counts and a running average for a specified date range.
Class Size Average: Generates a table of courses showing the number of students enrolled by grade level for a specified date range.
Conflict Matrix: Displays a list of potentially conflicting course requests.
Course Directory: Lists all district courses and their attributes, or the courses offered at a specific school track.
Course Request List: Lists course requests by student, including team requests, and identifies students with no requests or with too many or too few requests.
Course Request List and Tally: Lists the number of requests per course in a track, with optional breakdowns by gender and grade and the names of requesting students.
Credit Distribution Report: Compares the mark definitions for each master schedule section to the credit values in District Courses to verify that the correct credits are used for GPAs, transcripts, and graduation requirements.
CTE Pathways Listing: Lists the defined CTE pathways, including sub-pathway, industry, and year, along with the courses that make up each pathway.
English Learner Roster: Prints class rosters of English Learner students showing primary language, current proficiency, instructional setting, and placement.
Grid Master Schedule: Displays the master schedule in a traditional grid format to identify unscheduled teacher periods, review faculty assignments, and analyze seat counts.
Health Alerts Roster Report: Lists students with health alerts in the selected classes, with optional alert notes.
Loader Checklist and Verification: Combines seven reports, including a pre-Loader checklist, Loader setup listings, and a Data Exceptions report, to verify data before running the Loader.
Loader Results Summary by Course: Summarizes Loader results by course, showing the number of requests, scheduled requests, and unscheduled requests by request status.
Loader Results Summary by Grade/Gender: Summarizes Loader results by grade and/or gender, showing the number and percentage of students with fully scheduled requests.
Master Schedule: Lists master schedule information grouped by course, teacher, period, classroom, or team.
Master Schedule Request Balance Analysis: Compares student course requests to section sizes to show how requests are distributed across periods in the master schedule.
Pathway Listing: Lists the defined pathways, including sub-pathway, industry, and year, along with the courses that make up each pathway.
Seating Chart Report: Prints seating charts for a selected teacher, class, and date, with optional student photos.
Student Course Plan Report: Reports student course plan information by student or by plan, with options for grade range and additional courses.
Student CTE Pathways: Lists CTE pathways with enrolled students, showing grade, pathway status, and entry and exit dates, with optional course details.
Student Directory: Produces a listing of all students enrolled in the school, with optional demographics, addresses, contact information, counselor, and advisor.
Student Locator: Prints multiple student schedules per page, with options to include address and contact information or print on index cards.
Student Pathways: Lists students enrolled in pathways with their pathway status, with an option to include course information.
Student Recommendation List: Lists recommendations recorded for students over a specified date range, including date, type, course, subject, and notes.
Student Schedule by Terms: Shows each student’s schedule as of a selected date, with options to include classes for selected terms and format the report for mailing or classroom distribution.
Student Schedule Changes: Lists schedule changes (adds and drops) for each student as of a specified date.
Student Schedules: Shows each student’s schedule as of a selected date or for the entire year, with optional locker information and bell schedules.
Teacher Class Assignments: Lists each teacher’s assigned classes from the master schedule, with optional enrollment counts, for auditing the master schedule.
Team Request List and Tally: Lists teams in the selected track with the number of requests for each, broken down by gender and grade level, with optional student names.
Unscheduled Course Requests: Lists each student’s scheduled and unscheduled course requests after the Loader runs, including the reasons requests were not scheduled.
Unscheduled Period: Lists students with unscheduled periods, pinpointing open periods in a matrix with summary totals, and is typically run after the final Loader run.
