The Marks Suite provides users with tools to manage academic grading, transcripts, GPA calculations, and graduation requirements across students and courses. Applications in this suite include, but are not limited to, Class Marks, Grade Book, Marks Processing, and a variety of supporting reports.
Users unsure where to begin can review the application descriptions below. Reports are listed alphabetically at the end of the list. Additionally, documentation can be accessed through the navigation pane on the left.
- Calculate GPA
- Calculates transcript GPA and class rank based on posted academic history records.
- Class Marks
- Allows teachers to enter student marks for courses assigned to them in the master schedule.
- Class Marks Monitor
- Provides an overview of classes with missing or incomplete marks for a marking period.
- Grade Book
- Allows users to create assignments, track student scores, and manage class grade information.
- Marks Processing
- Calculates attendance, GPA, class rank, eligibility/honor roll, and credits across terms and tracks.
- Marks Setup
- Allows configuration of grading rules, report cards, comments, mark definitions, and grade book calculations.
- Mass Requirements
- Allows bulk assignment of graduation requirements to selected students.
- Report Card Setup
- Allows configuration of standards-based report card layouts, columns, and GPA display options.
- Requirements
- Defines and evaluates student eligibility criteria for graduation and honor roll.
- Student Academic History
- Provides a complete editable transcript of a student’s course history and displays GPA, credit, and class rank calculations.
- Student Marks
- Allows entry of marks, comments, and notes for all of a student’s scheduled classes at once.
- Translate Notes
- Allows teachers to enter attendance notes for their assigned classes using the class banner.
Marks Reports
- Academic Transcript Report
- Produces official or unofficial student transcripts showing grades, credits earned, and credits needed.
- Class Marks Distribution
- Displays counts of marks awarded by mark type and course for a selected marking term, with an optional distribution graph.
- Class Marks Listing
- Lists student marks for the selected classes and marking term.
- Class Standards Legend
- Prints the standards legend for the selected classes of the logged-in teacher, with an optional marks legend and standards notes.
- Class Standards Listing
- Prints class rosters showing the standards scores students earned from class assignments.
- Credit Distribution Report
- Compares the mark definitions for each master schedule section to the credit values in District Courses to verify that the correct credits are used for GPAs, transcripts, and graduation requirements.
- Current Term GPA/Honor Roll
- Displays student honor roll eligibility, credits attempted, and GPA for the current term after Marks Processing has been run.
- Current/Active GPA/Rank
- Displays student class rank based on calculated GPA for a selected GPA type and GPA range.
- Grade Book Assignment Listing
- Lists and describes a teacher’s grade book assignments for a selected class.
- Grade Book Class Summary
- Prints student scores for a selected class, summarized by mark type and term.
- Grade Book Missing Scores
- Lists students with assignments that have no score entered after the due date, with a subtotal of missing scores per student.
- Grade Book Progress Summary
- Generates a printable progress summary for each student in a teacher’s classes, showing current marks and percentages with optional missing assignments and a signature line.
- Grade Book Score Collection
- Produces a class roster form with blank spaces for manually recording scores when computer access is not available.
- Grade Book Student Progress Report
- Produces a report card style listing of assignment scores and the calculated grade for selected students in a class, with an optional attendance summary.
- Grade Book Task Summary
- Prints student scores for a selected task in a class.
- Grade Book Task Summary Sheet
- Provides an at-a-glance grid of all assignment scores for a class that can be printed or exported to Excel.
- Graduation Requirements Allocations
- Details how the credits students have earned are allocated to their graduation requirements.
- Graduation Requirements Projected Results
- Projects students’ future graduation requirement results based on posted transcript marks, current schedules, and course plans.
- Graduation Requirements Results
- Displays the results of student graduation requirement calculations to show progress toward meeting requirements.
- Historical GPA/Rank
- Displays student class rank based on GPA for a selected school year and term.
- Honor Roll Eligibility List
- Lists students who meet the requirements of every selected honor roll rule, such as when checking eligibility for extracurricular programs.
- Marks Distribution Analysis
- Produces a pivot table of the marks awarded for each course for extended data analysis and trend spotting.
- Multi Track Report Card
- Produces a customizable report card with all Report Card features plus the ability to report multiple tracks per student and print in languages other than English.
- Report Card
- Produces report cards with each student’s most recent course marks and/or benchmark scores for each reporting period defined in Report Card Setup.
- Report Card Comment Legend
- Prints the list of predefined comments set up for use in mark reporting.
- Standards History
- Displays student standards-based marks from prior years in a transcript-style format.
- Student Marks Listing
- Lists classes and recorded marks by student for the selected marking terms so marks can be reviewed before they are made available to students and parents.
