When logged into Q, there are a series of icons that display at the bottom of the home screen.
Let’s review what those icons do.
Favorites Icon: Click to change the order or remove favorite apps and reports. Use this in any other app or report to set that as a favorite.
Sticky Note: Add personal notes for each app. Each app has it’s own sticky note pad that will display when the note icon is selected and that app is open. These only display for the logged in user. The icon will change from a white piece of paper to color if there is a note present.
Application Access History Link. Broken down by module, this shows the last time each application was accessed. This works for the logged in user or impersonated staff.
Preference Cog: Click to view available user preferences. The preferences available for users from the Home page are Color Theme, Student Search Focus, Report Selection Filters, Separate Alert Types, Number of Days an Alert is 'new' and Open Same Application after Switching Tracks.
Widget Subscriptions & Configuration: Click to open list of available widgets and configuration placement options.
Notification Icon: Click to display recent notifications. The icon will be red if there are new, unread notifications.
